If you have VA or Tricare health insurance, you are eligible to opt out of student health insurance.
Although VA health insurance does not qualify for a waiver according to the criteria, Health Services makes an exception for VA health care. You will be granted a waiver if you agree to the understanding that by waiving the student health insurance, you will not be able to seek care through Health Services.

To obtain health care, you will need to use your military insurance and will not be eligible for care through Health Services.
