Veterans Readiness and Employment (VR&E), formerly known as Voc Rehab (Chapter 31), is another option to fund the cost of your education at WashU if you have a service-connected disability that limits or prevents you from working.
VR&E focuses on employability and helps with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and job seeking skills coaching. Other services may be provided to assist Veterans in starting their own businesses or independent living services for those who are severely disabled and unable to work in traditional employment.
You or your VA counselor will need to provide your VA Form 28-1905, Authorization and Certification of Entrance into Rehabilitation or Reentrance and Certification Status, in order to process payment.
